MISSION STATEMENT

Cyrax Sound Entertainment is an East Coast DJ company that has been providing personalized musical entertainment services since 1994. Operating out of Fayetteville, NC. we serve the entire East Coast (but is not limited to) with exceptional service. We are known for our party vibe but in recent years, we have made wedding receptions and balls our playgrounds. We have showcased our talents through unforgettable entertainment for military and graduation balls, corporate events, teen parties, bar and bat mitzvahs and family celebrations.

 

Cyrax Sound Entertainment have received numerous accolades from clients for our profound musical knowledge, with a combination of elegance and humor for a memorable performance and with a minute detailed planning process. Our staff of professional DJs’ and masters of music mixology are ready to fill your musical worlds with custom planning (which allows our clients to personalize their events) and we are always flexible to meet our client’s needs.

DJ's BIOGRAPHY

CYRAX SOUND ENT. was founded in 1994 by Otis Smith aka DJ CYRAX, who is also  the CEO, President & DJ. Otis was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica where he is known as the 'Party Vibes Master.' The inordinate conviction traveled with him to the U.S where he has been promising an insight to the ultimate top tier DJ experience! He is a graduate of Campbell University  with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Management and is a proud army veteran. 

 

His musical mind, experience of over 20 years and architectural mixing with a chameleon-like ability to play different musical styles gives him an advantage in entertaining from the most elegant wedding receptions to the most cordial parties (dance). He takes pleasure in personalizing every single event for our clients to suit their specific needs. His music specialty includes but is not limited to: reggae, soca, rap, r&b, hip hop, and country. DJ Cyrax is ready to travel to you so you can experience a true professional that will enhance your event!

DJ SHARKY (THIRD WORLD SOUND) CEO, President & DJ, Douglas Cummingham aka Mr. Master of Ceremony was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The  US Army veteran started DJ-ing at age 14 in Kingston, Jamaica and made a name for himself as a club dj in New York, while travelling the world showcasing his talent, especially in places like Germany, Korea, England and Canada.  DJ Sharky stand ready to add a touch of  class to your next event. He also owns and operates THIRD WORLD SOUND SYSTEM. 

 

DJ SHARKY (THIRD WORLD SOUND) believes in Cyrax Sound Entertainment mission and maximize his time to  ensure that each and every event is customize to the client's likely. His attention to detail is surely a plus to Cyrax Sound Entertainment and his musical mind is out of this world, which allows him to cater to all genre of music.

DJ DANIEL (TRANSLATOR SOUND)  DJ, Coordinator & Manager, Daniel Donalds was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, where he first felt in love with music. His ability to entertain through the turntables became evident and demand attention. The Showstopper will definitely put a twist to your event, which will leave you begging for more. DJ Daniel promise to please and will go beyond the call of duty to ensure such. 

 

DJ DANIEL (TRANSLATOR SOUND)  manages the Florida & Georgia sector for Cyrax Sound Entertainment, where he is known for blissful performances and professionalism. He sees music as a mission and not a competition, this sets him apart for all DJ's. His personality alligns with Cyrax Sound Entertainment's mission and we are happy to have him as apart of the family. DJ Daniel's music vocabilary is un-matched and will be an asset for your next event.

E. MICHAEL CHARLES aka DJ EM-C was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Point Fortin, Trinidad. In 1995 he became part of a local DJ sound called Silva Stone International located in Brooklyn. While entertaining folks on mediocre equipment he decided to advance his talent to the professional level of musical entertainment.  DJ EM-C caters at all events such as weddings, private parties, block parties and formal events; he also accommodates Karaoke parties as well. He specializes in genres such as Soca, Dancehall, R&B and Hip-Hop.

 

As a professional, he takes pride in keeping his clients and their guest happy on the dance floor. DJ EM-C number one priority is customer satisfaction; communication is vital to his musical relationships as well as in life. His work ethic is a corner stone at Cyrax Sound Entertainment and adds an extra touch of spice to our culture. DJ EM-C manages the Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and parts of the North Carolina sector. You can count on DJ EM-C for a good time always.
